No stone. Just wire.

Each earring is a single length of copper, bent back on itself in a series of switchbacks and finished with a coiled spiral at the tail. Then the whole thing is hammered flat, which both work-hardens the metal so it keeps its shape and leaves the faint planished texture you can see along every edge.

Wire stiffens as you work it. The second earring has to match the first closely enough to read as a pair. That is the part that takes practice.

There is no mould anywhere in this. A second pair would come out differently.

Copper left unlacquered, so it will darken and warm against your skin over the months. A soft cloth and a little polish brings it back if you prefer it bright.

Light, long and graphic. Wear them with a plain neckline and hair up.
