Look at the pink barrels. Each one is caged in fine wire, by hand, in a criss-cross that holds the bead without hiding it.

There are eleven of them. Every cage is formed separately — wire bent around a curve where it does not want to sit — and each takes several minutes at the bench.

The strands are faceted emerald glass threaded with pink cat's eye, which carries a band of light that travels as it moves.

It fastens by passing the drops through the loop at the opposite end. No clasp, no fixed length — wear it long, doubled, or knotted short.
