Pink & Green Multi-Strand Lariat Necklace. Look closely at the larger beads. The flowers are inside the glass. That's lampwork — glass shaped bead by bead in an open flame, each blossom and leaf built up in molten color and encased in clear glass while it's still glowing. No mold, no shortcut. The flowers can never be identical, because the glass moves while it's being worked.

And because it's a lariat, there's no clasp and no fixed length. Knot it at the collarbone. Loop it twice for something shorter. Drape it long over a column dress and let the tassels do the work.

No two are alike — not the beads, and not the necklace.
