Two strands, and they are not the same.

One runs magenta against cream; the other blush against ivory. Both are punctuated with polished gold beads and small smoky glass rounds, and both are long enough to wear over the head without a clasp.

The point of building them as a pair is that they can be separated. Worn together they layer at slightly different lengths and read as one substantial piece. Worn apart, each is a simple long strand that works on its own — which effectively makes this three necklaces.

Seed bead work at this length is patient work. There is no shortcut and no way to speed it up; the strand is as long as it is because someone strung every bead.

The magenta is genuinely vivid and holds up against black, white, denim and camel equally.
