These beautiful large bone and traditional batik are hand dyed beads from Kenya, Africa. The dying method is known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The design on these is an interesting "CHEVRON" design, with the pattern going all the way around the bead and includes a wooden core. The thickness of stripes in each pattern varies from bead to bead. The beads are strung on a thick white leather that brings texture and life to this beautiful piece.
