Copper Chain Necklace with Wire-Wrapped Glass Pendant

An antiqued copper rolo chain carrying a two-stone wire-wrapped pendant — a deep green jade round above a cream and green swirled lampwork glass bead. Simple, sculptural, everyday.

$68.00

The simplest piece here, and the one most likely to be worn daily.

An antiqued copper rolo chain — substantial links, warm patina — carrying a single pendant built from two stones. A deep green jade round sits above a swirled lampwork glass bead in cream and green, both caged in copper wire wrapped by hand so the wire becomes part of the design rather than a way of holding things together.

The glass swirl is formed while the glass is molten. The pattern is drawn into it with a tool as it turns in the flame, which is why it spirals rather than sits in even bands.

Copper left unlacquered will warm and deepen with wear. If you prefer it bright, a soft cloth and a little polish brings it back.

This is a jeans-and-a-white-shirt necklace. It asks nothing of the outfit.
